Commissioned mural for Beverley School Toronto. Mural was split into 3 panels totalling 9' high by 120' long. Surrounding 2 walls of their indoor pool room. The idea was to bring as much colour and visual interest into the pool area by illustrating easily recognizable rainforest animals in a collage style. I then got to draw out the composition and digitally paint the panels in photoshop.
This project has proven it's success by seeing how engaged the children are in the pool environment. The facility are thrilled by how much brighter and welcoming the pool area is now.
After the mural installation proved its worth, I was asked to reformat the artwork to be used as a print in an auction they had to fundraise for the school itself. We also distilled the elements down further to greeting card kits that also contributed to the fundraising efforts.
